Congratulations and welcome to the Lekki Cake International Exhibition – Ikeja 2026 Cake Decoration Competition!

We are excited to have you participate in this prestigious baking competition scheduled to take place on 29th and 30th September 2026 in Ikeja, Lagos State. This competition brings together talented cake decorators and baking professionals to showcase creativity, skill, and innovation in cake artistry.

Competition Theme

“The Masters’ Masterpiece – Dream Wedding Cake”

Contestants are expected to design and present a creative concept inspired by the theme, reflecting elegance, originality, and mastery in wedding cake design.

Competition Stages

The competition will take place in multiple stages, and contestants must successfully complete each stage to progress to the next.

Stage 1 – Registration
Participants are required to complete the registration form and upload a clear photograph as part of their entry submission on the official competition website.

Stage 2 – First Online Voting Round
After registration, contestants will participate in the first round of online voting on the official competition page.

  • Contestants must obtain a minimum of 2,000 valid votes to qualify for the next stage.

  • Each vote costs ₦100.

  • Only votes cast through the official voting page will be counted.

Stage 3 – Live Cake Decoration & Second Voting Round
Qualified contestants will participate in a Live Cake Decoration Challenge on their social media platforms.

The live session will last 20 minutes and will include:

  • Introduction (5 minutes): Contestants introduce themselves and their baking journey.

  • Cake Trimming and Decoration (15 minutes): Contestants decorate a 2-tier cake live.

After completing the live decoration session, contestants must obtain a minimum of 3,000 additional votes on the competition page to qualify for the next stage.

Stage 4 – Final Online Voting Round
Contestants who advance from Stage 3 must obtain a minimum of 2,000 additional valid votes to qualify for the Grand Finale.

Total Vote Requirement
To reach the final stage, contestants must accumulate a minimum total of 7,000 votes across all voting rounds.

Important Guidelines

  • Dates for the Live Cake Decoration Challenge will be communicated to qualified contestants ahead of time.

  • Contestants must notify the organizers before going live for their decoration session.

  • During the live session, contestants must tag all official social media platforms of the Lekki Cake International Exhibition.

  • Only verified votes recorded on the official competition page will be counted.

  • Any attempt to manipulate or artificially generate votes may lead to immediate disqualification.

  • The decisions of the organizers and judges are final and binding.

Grand Finale

Contestants who successfully meet all voting requirements will proceed to the Grand Finale, where they will compete physically at the Lekki Cake International Exhibition venue in Ikeja, Lagos State.

Competition Prizes

The winners of the competition will receive the following prizes:

  • First Prize: ₦2,000,000

  • Second Prize: ₦1,500,000

  • Third Prize: ₦1,000,000

Additional recognition, gifts, and opportunities may also be awarded by the organizers.

Competition Rules

– Real cake should be between 6-8 inches; the rest can be dummies or foam.
– Minimum height of the whole cake from top to base 50 inches. Minimum base 30 Inches, we expect tall cakes with neat finishing.
– Ready-made flowers, toppers, figurines, pillars, boards, separators, and constructed panels are allowed.
– Encourage friends, family, and fans to vote during the voting stages.
– Note that votes will be displayed immediately once the payment of N100 is made, being cost for one vote! However, you can vote as many times as you want, on the competition page.
– one vote cost N100

Important Notes

– The Lekki Cake International Exhibition will not provide refunds during or after the competition.
– This is a competition to showcase your talent, not a lottery contest.
– We disassociate Lekki Cake International Exhibition from any illegal or fraudulent actions. Please do not borrow to vote or enforce others to vote for you.
